Future Perfect
No relation to the other group of the same
name, this group comprised of Todd Merrell and Patrick Jordan was
an unknown pioneer of sampling techniques, using tape dubbing
instead of a sampler.

Eks-Men (X-Men)
Merrell and Jordan teamed up for another
unfortuantely short-lived effort that was influenced by the
proto-techno of the 1980's and the precision of mechanical
engineering.

Single Side Band
This intriguing Merrell and Jordan project
begged the age old question: 'what is music?', and the artists
responded with an undeniably musical sonic exploration fashioned
only from short wave radios and an effects unit, all tweaked live
to tape. Several live shows in Chicago followed, and the project
continues to this day with an ever expanding arsenal of
equipment, source material, and reasons for being. Denis
Blackham mastered the 2000 electromagnetica releases 'Shipshore'
and 'Self-Modulating Prophecy'. 'Etherica', which was also
recorded in 2000, will soon be available.

legendary electronica pioneer Simeon Coxe of Silver Apples, was
produced by Todd Merrell, and also featured Todd's arrangements,
